Recently remodeled, with attention to detail and comfort, your stay is sure to be exceptional. The large, kitchen and dining area make it easy for everyone to cook, eat, and laugh together. The open floor plan with kitchen, dining, and two living areas, including a fireplace, makes for a great space to sit and unwind after your daytime adventures. The outdoor hot tub is the perfect way to end your day and take in the beauty that surrounds this incredible home. A quick few-minute drive to the ski mountain, under a 10-minute drive to downtown Crested Butte, views for miles, and high-end living space that accommodates 16 people comfortably, makes this house your dream vacation come true!
The bottom floor has a heated 2-car garage with plenty of room for ski gear, dirty boots, and hanging jackets. The ground-level entrance near the garage opens into an office. For those who have lingering business that needs to be addressed while on vacation, this room provides a real sanctuary from the activity of the house. It is secluded and quiet, with great WiFi. So work or play, the Avalanche House is the place to stay! It also has a queen bunk room, with room for 2 self-inflating twin beds available if needed in the closet, a full spacious bathroom, and a large laundry room. The main floor of the house has a well-appointed kitchen, bar, family room, cozy den with a fireplace, and a spacious queen bedroom with a full bath that serves as the common bathroom as well. The third floor has a master suite with a fireplace, a king bed, a full bathroom with double sinks, a huge walk-in closet, and a much-needed steam shower after a day of CB adventures! Views from the master and shower are spectacular! Also on this floor is a king bedroom with a full private bathroom and two more queen bedrooms that share a full bathroom in between them.

PARKING: There is space for 1 vehicle in the heated garage and 3 outside on the driveway.

*First Tracks is a free shuttle service that will transport you to and from the base area during the winter and summer months. All of the information you need is located in the property binder once you arrive.

10/10 Would Stay Again!

Fabulous view of both Mt. Crested Butte and surrounding valley from the bedrooms, living room and wrap around balcony. The accommodation is conveniently located a short 4 minute drive to the base and 15 minutes from the town center. Rooms/linens/bedding is comfortable, and the kitchen was extremely well appointed with island chairs and cooking equipment for the most discerning chefs. Nice to have a heated garage spot, and ample parking in the driveway. Peak Properties are pros with communication and lightning quick with responses. Perfect for a large group, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms. 5-star stay!

Best place we have ever stayed

This was the most fantastic place! We've been renting at CB for 8 years for our annual summer escape from Texas. This is by far the best place we have stayed in for our annual family get together. Thank you owners for providing such a beautiful home. It brings so much joy to the lives of those who are fortunate enough to stay in it. I wish you could have seen the looks on everyone's face when we opened the doors and took our first tour through. We had such a great time. Thanks so much.

Great property that was perfect for our group of 12. Two minute drive to the mountain, 10 min drive to downtown. Pictures don’t do justice of the views from inside the property overlooking Crested Butte mountain and the surrounding area. Secluded and private that catered to the needs of a big group for sleeping and privacy. Would definitely 100% stay here again!
