Where: Red Lady Stage – Crested Butte Mountain Resort

Two-time BMA nominee’s, The Revered Payton’s Big Damn Band is considered one of the greatest front-porch blues bands in the world. 7/13 Big Something

Time: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Where: Red Lady Stage – Crested Butte Mountain Resort

Fusing elements of rock, pop, funk, and improvisation, Big Something takes listeners on a journey through a myriad of musical styles. 7/20 Emily Wolfe

7/27 Couch

Time: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Where: Red Lady Stage – Crested Butte Mountain Resort

Equipped with catchy hooks and powerhouse vocals, Couch aims to reshape familiar pop tropes in fresh ways. They infuse pop songs with funk, R&B, jazz, and rock influences. Their vibrant sound is further defined by the members’ personal training in jazz, a cappella, and musical theatre. Couch injects each track with their signature flavor—expressive horns, warm vocals, and bubbling synths—crafting an oasis of joy for musicians and non-musicians alike.

8/3 Black Joe Lewis

Time: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Where: Red Lady Stage – Crested Butte Mountain Resort

8/10 Paper Idol

Time: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Where: Red Lady Stage – Crested Butte Mountain Resort

Paper Idol is the genre-bending pop project of LA-based artist and auteur Matan KG. Paper Idol’s live set combines electronic samplers and real instrumentation making you move.

8/27 Soul Rebels

Time: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Where: Red Lady Stage – Crested Butte Mountain Resort

The Soul Rebels started with an idea – to expand upon the pop music they loved on the radio and the New Orleans brass tradition they grew up on. They took that tradition and blended funk and soul with elements of hip hop, jazz and rock all within a brass band context. The band has built a career around an eclectic live show that harnesses the power of horns and drums in a deep pocket funk party-like atmosphere.

Liver Down the River Live @ Crested Butte Public House

July 2, 2022 | Doors: 8:00PM, Show: 9:00PM

Liver Down the River is Back at Crested Butte Public House Saturday July 2nd 2022!!

Meet the Band

From the high mountain river-valley of Durango, Colorado comes a five piece band of musicians called Liver Down The River. The group has their roots in countless river floats, campfires, late night picking, and Colorado living. Since its creation in 2012, the band has strived to have nothing but a good time. Their unique sound and high energy performances have lead them to share the stage with the likes of The Infamous Stringdusters, Railroad Earth, The New Mastersounds, and Poor Man’s Whiskey, to name a few.

The band got their start in 2012 when Patrick Storen and Emily Winter met and started playing music together. A few common fiddle tunes and Grateful Dead numbers later, the two were ready to perform. With the addition of Jake Hasluck on bass, Dominic Fante on drums and Tom Buswell on guitar, the music comes to life.

The music is a blend of original and improvisational compositions that take the listener on a journey. Each member brings their own inspirations and elements to the sound. From the high peaks of bluegrass, the deepest pockets of the funk, and the outer reaches of space, a unique genre of music is created. Inspiration comes from the band’s collective adventures, love of nature, the following of the soul, and the drive to keep on moving on.
